Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

Good morning!

I’m Cynthia and I’m the representative of Dalian No. 24 Middle School. It’s so nice to meet you here.

Australia is really a fascinating nation. Everything here is new to us. During the past week, we went to Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Canberra. We saw the little penguins returning home, touched the kangaroos and even embraced the koala.

During this week, we will pay a visit to your school. We’ll study together, play together and even live together. I think it’s really cool. I love countryside very much. You have green plants everywhere. Whenever you walk on the campus, you will hear birds singing. Gardens and trees provide a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. It’s lucky to study in your school. And I believe that this experience must be one of the most wonderful time in our lives.

Now, let me introduce the city of Dalian to you. Like Sydney, Dalian is also a city on the sea. The best time to go there is from March to May. During that time, all the flowers come out and the weather is fine all the day. Dalian is famous for its delicious seafood, it’s soccer team and the International Fashion Festival. If you love eating, don’t miss it. If you love sports, don’t miss it. And if you love fashion, you shouldn’t miss it. So all in all, welcome to Dalian No.24 Middle School. We have the higheset quality of education the most beautiful campus, the prettiest girls and most handsome boys in Dalian. Welcome to Dalian!
